In May 2021 the NSW Department of Education's Arts Unit was proud to present, in partnership with NIDA, the NSW Public Schools 2021 Drama Company performance “Tales from the Wild Bush”.

When a young child suddenly faces the reality of big school, they find comfort and counsel in their favourite bedtime book “Tales from the Wild Bush”. There’s much to learn from their furry native friends; the dark can sometimes shine a light, and answers are often where you least expect them. Come on an adventure with this merry native band into a tale of fun, fantasy and friendship!

This exciting original production was devised for our youngest students: Kindergarten to Year 2. Written and performed by the NSW Public Schools 2021 Drama Company under the direction of industry professionals Robert Jago and Emma Palmer and performed with the support of our partner NIDA.
